BALI National Award Winner 2001 - Mainly Soft Landscaping

English Landscapes was chosen as the landscape construction and maintenance partner by John Laing and Serco and worked as part of the bidding team on this PFI project. English Landscapes had design input into the works and constructed all hard and soft landscaping together with all outdoor sports facilities.

The works undertaken included:

Construction of a County Standard Cricket pitch and artificial wicket
Construction of football and rugby pitches, tennis courts and an international Standard sand-filled artificial hockey pitch
Construction of four external and four internal courtyards
Construction of a large water feature
Laying of 3,500 square metres of slab paving
Supply and installation of street furniture
Planting of 35,000 shrubs, 400 tress and several acres of grass seeding

Following successful completion of the project, our sister company, English Landscapes Maintenance is undertaking the long term maintenance works on the site.
