English Landscapes has been working with CV One since September 1999, based on their alternative proposal at the time to operate a true partnership with the client, jointly working to achieve ambitious Key Performance Indicators and using open book accounting to manage resources. The contract comprises:
Cleansing of streets, precincts, shopping areas, public open places, land and service areas Maintenance of grass areas, shrub areas, herbaceous beds, rockeries and rose beds Design, supply and planting of spring and summer bedding plants and bulbs Maintenance of hedgerows
One of the successes of the partnership is the added value to the contract. This can be demonstrated by over 200 items of extra works that have been carried out over the last year alone using our core resource at no extra cost to CV One.
English Landscapes takes a pro-active approach in its partnership with CV One; together contniually reassessing performance in order to make further improvements in the service. Initiatives have included a 'Litter Line', a Grafitti Hotline, the implementation of a permanent night shift and the deep cleansing of popular areas of the City.
