BALI National Award Winner 2002 - Land Renewal

English Landscapes completed the hard and soft landscaping on the former brownfield site, which was to form Estuary Commerce Park, a major new business park. These works formed part of the construction of infrastructure for this new development.

The works undertaken included:

Earthmoving of over 50,000 cubic metres and land drainage
Construction of over 10,000 square metres of tarmac footpaths and cycleways with Fibredec wearing course
Provision of a new lake lined with puddled clay with high quality finish reinforced concrete headwall structures
Construction of timber decking
Planting of 350 semi-mature trees, 1,000 heavy standard trees, 100,000 shrubs and aquatic plants
Installation of extensive street lighting, ornamental steel railings, signage and street furniture

A three year maintenance period followed practical completion

Following on from the initial maintenance period, English Landscapes has been awarded a further five-year maintenance contract with Liverpool Land Development Co.
